Cape Town

We’ll meet you from your flight and drive you to the luxurious One&Only Cape Town resort, located on the city’s fashionable Victoria & Alfred waterfront. Settling in to your new surrounds, relax at the hotel with a spa treatment, or explore the local area.

Cape Town

Ascend the sky-high plateau of Table Mountain for dazzling views of the city and sea. Back at ground level you can explore old Cape Town, including South Africa's oldest church and the pentagonal Castle of Good Hope. Built by the Dutch East India Company, this later became the Cape’s military hub. You'll also visit a local artisan workshop, Streetwires, before indulging in a veritable contemporary feast at a private welcome dinner.

Cape Town

Cape Point, the mountainous tip of the continent, awaits you. On the drive, you’ll pass pretty bays and bustling harbours. Between July and November, the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve is famed for whale watching, so bring your binoculars. Before returning to Cape Town, stop at Boulders Beach to meet the endangered African penguins, or rest awhile in the tranquil Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden.

Greater Kruger Area

After a flight to Hoedspruit you’ll settle into your safari lodge in Sabi Sands or the Timbavati Game Reserve. In either you’ll border Kruger National Park. After lunch you’ll set off on your first game drive in search of the Big Five. Elephant, lion, rhinoceros, Cape buffalo and leopard are all waiting to be discovered on the plains.

Greater Kruger Area

Spend the next two days on safari with early morning game walks or intrepid 4x4 drives. Besides the Big Five, giraffe, zebra, cheetah and stunning flora and fauna make their home in this lush park. Between game drives, enjoy a special Chef’s Table experience, learning how to cook traditional African stew. As sun sets across the savannah, enjoy sundowners and look out for nocturnal creatures such as porcupine.

Victoria Falls

You’ll fly to Livingstone in Zambia and be driven across a border bridge to Zimbabwe and the iconic Victoria Falls Hotel, an Edwardian colonial building that delivers the elegance of old world travel. After a traditional high tea, enjoy a guided tour of the hotel, which dates back to 1904. Alternatively, relax and enjoy the views of Victoria Falls Bridge from the cool shade of the veranda.

Victoria Falls

The highlight of your visit is a guided tour of the spectacular Victoria Falls. Rainbows and clouds of spray are ever present as the mile-wide Upper Zambezi plummets into the Lower Zambezi. Come late afternoon, you’ll step aboard a sunset cruiser to drift past the hippo and crocodile hiding in the water and watch the elephant play on the banks. In the evening enjoy a well-earned farewell dinner at the hotel.

Johannesburg

Wrenching yourself away from the beauty of Victoria Falls, you’ll fly to Johannesburg. We’ll book you into the Premier Lounge so you can relax in style before boarding your flight back to the UK.
