About Changa Safari Camp
Changa Safari Camp is located in the famed Matusadona National Park, on a peninsular that reaches right into the heart of Lake Kariba. Stay in private East African-style luxury tents with commanding views of the rugged Matusadona Mountains and the lake.
Each tent boasts en-suite facilities, an “under-the-stars” bath and shower, and private decking. The main area of the camp includes a tastefully furnished lounge, library, separate dining-room, swimming pool and a novel bar created from an old fishing boat. The camp is designed to blend into the surrounding bush seamlessly, making this the perfect hideout for those who long to get close to nature.
Changa Safari Camp offers a variety of activities. As well as being an excellent place to explore by foot, you can ride through the plains in a safari vehicle and you can, of course, explore by boat. Look out for antelope, elephant, leopard and the many other majestic beasts that populate this past of Africa. The guides are experienced, friendly and only too happy to share what they’ve learned from the time they’ve spent in this wild land.
