About Antarctica XXi
Antarctica is a trip of a lifetime without question, to be able to fly over the Drake that can take over 4 days to navigate by boat maximising the time to explore and discover this phenomenal continent that has hardly been touched by the human footprint. The aircraft is a BAE - 146, a high winged aircraft with short runway requirements, perfect for landing in this pristine environment. The M/V Ocean Nova awaits a modern and comfortable vessel with an ice - strengthened hull ideally suited for expedition travel in Antarctica. Encounter incredible scenes and great wildlife opportunities including the macaroni penguin, the crabeater seal and the mighty humpback whale to name a few.
The M/V Ocean Nova offers comfortable outside cabins, all with private facilities, including dedicated single, twin and triple cabins. In addition to a glass-enclosed observation lounge and presentation room, a spacious dining room, a bar, a library and an infirmary. The ship has Zodiac boats that are well suited for disembarking and viewing the bewildering wildlife. The staff on board are highly trained, knowledgeable and very friendly eager to share their enthusiasm for the Antarctica with all who travel with them.
