It’s an early start today with a morning drive to Tortuguero's dock, passing through banana plantations and Braulio Carrillo National Park. You’ll spend two hours on your canal trip to Tortuguero giving you ample time to spot caiman and an abundance of different bird species before arriving at Manatus Lodge.
Jump on board for a boat tour of the park's channels and canals, stopping to explore the local town. The National Park is a major nesting area for green sea turtles and protects over 300 additional species including the endangered green macaw and jaguar.
