Dr Susan Langley, Archaeology Professor

Susan is an adjunct professor at several colleges and universities, where she teaches underwater archaeology and the history and anthropology of piracy. Lecturing internationally on topics ranging from beekeeping to textile technology, she has taught at UNESCO’s Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization and serves as Maryland’s State Underwater Archaeologist. Susan is a master scuba diving instructor and leads paddling tours at the Mallows Bay-Potomac River National Marine Sanctuary.
