About Villa Belle Époque

Opened in March 2009, in Cairo's most lushly landscaped quarter, the boutique hotel 'Villa Belle Époque' is an ideal base for exploring this historic city.

The Maddi district location is where wealthy, cosmopolitan Cairenes built their stately residences and filled their sprawling gardens with a stunning array of exotic plants and trees. Now home to over a dozen embassies, and much of the capital's multi-cultural expatriate community, Maadi is a relaxed, sophisticated and sought-after area of the capital.

Richly, yet understatedly decorated with a period feel, and embellished with works of contemporary Egyptian art, Villa Belle Époque allows visitors to relive the comfort and elegance of a bygone era while enjoying every modern amenity. The shaded patios and luminous conservatory that serves as a dining area, allow you to enjoy the tranquillity of Maadi's sunshine and birdsong.

In springtime, Maadi bursts into flower: blue-blossomed jacarandas, fragrant yellow mimosa, and the flaming-scarlet bloom of the tree known locally as 'flamboyant'. Year round, the neighbourhood streets with their café's, restaurants and shopping centres, invite leisurely strolls.
