UK - Winelands

After an international flight, reboot for your great adventure by heading straight from the airport to a vineyard retreat. Spend the day strolling amongst the vines and an evening gazing up at the stars, sipping Chile's fine wine and dreaming of tomorrow’s journey to 'that' legendary island.

Santiago - Easter Island

Today begins with a short transfer back to Santiago airport where you’ll fly over the Pacific Ocean to Easter Island. Dominated by the mighty moai, this open-air museum is a total dream for those who want to get away from modern life and be transported to days gone by. These were the days when pirates ruled the seas and enormous statues rose, inexplicably, from the land.

Easter Island

Visit the Volcanic crater of Ranu Rarak, impressive for its natural wonder and magnificent statues. The Nursery still houses 150 figures and there are 70 standing sentinels that flank the volcano’s sides. Explore the island’s most mythical and spectacular sites, Ahu Te Pito Kura Anakena and Vaitea. Accompanied by your local guide, discover the myths and mysteries about those iconic heads over a leisurely picnic lunch.

Easter Island

Visit the village where the bizarre bird man cult originated. Here you can learn more of the rituals and customs, tied into the extraordinary island belief systems. Later, visit Ahu Vinapu with it's Incan styled walls. Here you can also explore the fascinating Englert museum. The ceremonial complex of Tahai is our top choice for the end of the day, with its vast views over the ocean.

Easter Island

This lava-formed island offers a haunting yet bewitching landscape. As it’s a UNESCO world heritage site Get back to nature and explore the island on foot, or horse ride past the volcanic caves and lava tubes. Beyond, there are coconut-tree beaches with soft white sands. A chance to relax or snorkel before you visit Hanga Roa for a laid-back sojourn to get a taste of local life.

Easter Island - Wine Country

We know you won't want to leave this magical place, so we’ll ease the blow by delivering you back to your wonderful wine lodge on the mainland. Here you can spend the evening drowning your sorrows with some great Chilean wines, whilst the island’s magic still whispers in your ears.

Santiago - UK

You’ll fly back to the UK today. Or instead, you could continue your journey by striking out once again from the handy hub of Santiago to unearth some of mainland Chile's many treasures.
