Take the Vistadome train to the lost city of Machu Picchu, and enjoy a light lunch served onboard. Accompanied by your expert guide, explore the ruins and learn what’s known of the lives of the priests, craftsmen and servants who once resided here. Transfer to your Cusco hotel in the evening.

Leave Salta for a three-day tour of northern Argentina, first heading to Cachi. Here the landscape changes as tall and elegant cacti welcome you to Los Cardones National Park.
After breakfast, depart for Cafayate through the scenic Quebrada de las Flechas gorge. You’ll pass through beautiful villages such as Senclatás, Molinos and San Carlos. On arrival in your Cafayate wine hotel, enjoy an incredible wine-country experience as you visit nearby vineyards to taste Torrontes wines from original stocks.
After a relaxed morning to explore the vineyard, leave Cafayate behind as you head for the capital, stopping off at amazing rock formations such as the Anfiteatro. Your journey takes you through the breath-taking Quebrada de las Conchas gorge, characterised by intense colours. Continue to Salta Airport for your flight to Buenos Aires.
Spend your final day in South America exploring the exciting city of Buenos Aires. Visit Alvear Avenue, home to some of the most exclusive buildings, hotels and boutiques in town, before seeing the Brazilian Embassy, an impressive architectural marvel. Stop by Nuestra Senora del Pilar Church and the Recoleta Cemetery, known for the famous characters from Argentine history buried among the monuments and mausoleums. Afterwards, you’re transferred to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
