Why book with A&K?

Travel is in our DNA. We live it, breathe it, love it, and we want you to feel the same way. Ever since our chairman, Geoffrey Kent, set up A&K in 1962, our mission has been to create holidays and travel experiences that deliver more than what has been asked for. We believe it is our people, both in the UK and our offices all over the world, who help us achieve this. People who keep their ears to ground, who anticipate what you are looking for before you are aware of it yourself and who have the contacts to make things happen.

With so many options available, it can be difficult to know where to start. That’s where we come in. Whether you know exactly what you want, but not how to get it, or whether you are looking for inspiration and ideas, our team are here to help guide you through the process of finding the perfect holiday. We welcome the opportunity to show you what we can do.

South America (a)

South America

With its wealth of natural wonders, ancient civilisations and captivating cultures, when it comes to touring, South America is emerging as a 'must visit' destination, thanks in part to a formidable reputation for the quality of its viniculture and gastronomy.

Lions in Africa

In a world of cultural variety and intense contrasts, there's nowhere quite like Africa to take your breath away. Across this expansive land, 54 diverse countries vie for attention: from the barren deserts of the Kalahari and Sahara to the dark, impenetrable forests of Uganda, and the fertile grasslands of the savannah in between.

Like an assault to the senses, Asia is a cacophony of colour, sights, tastes, sounds and smells – each one more deliciously different to the last.

Australasia & South Pacific

Australasia. The name alone immediately conjures up images of vast landscapes of deep red earth, undulating green vistas and cerulean seas, all set against an endless cobalt sky. In a region so far from the United Kingdom it's easy to understand its draw: travel to the ends of the Earth, and you will be rewarded.

Antarctica's magical aesthetic of snowy expanses and towers of ice plunging into the deep blues and greens of the bitter Southern Ocean symbolises one of our planet's last remaining natural frontiers -an isolated, untamed wilderness that is begging to be explored.

Arctic (a)

Arctic & Nordics

The Arctic is the northernmost region of the Earth beyond which trees do not grow. It is the land of the midnight sun and the polar night, the kingdom of the white 'sea bear'.

Caribbean (a)

Sunshine, beaches, rum and music: a heady combination that characterises the Caribbean and all its good-time, fun-loving feeling. The idyllic islands offer escapism and relaxation in spades.

Europe (a)

With A&K Luxury European Holidays, we know the best places to stay, the liveliest bars and the most romantic retreats in the myriad of short-break destinations, enabling you to experience the most iconic cities and towns in Europe at their zenith.

Banyan tree, Maldives, with Abercrombie & Kent

Indian Ocean

With warm, vivid-blue waters, kaleidoscopic underwater scenery and powdery white beaches, the tropical islands of the Indian Ocean are pure paradise – think Robinson Crusoe, with luxurious linens, sun cream and a way to leave, if you can force yourself.

Indian-Sub-Continent (a)

Indian Subcontinent

The Indian Subcontinent is a bewitching land of passionate people, glorious landscapes and soulful spirituality. Contemporary India is rapidly developing, but it still has a firm grip on its ancient roots; the country's long, and often tumultuous, religious history has borne an abundance of sacred sites and long-held rituals that survive in this modern age.

North-Africa-Middle-East (a)

North Africa & Middle East

The cradle of ancient civilisations, the sandy swathes of North Africa and the Middle East are home to fascinating cultures and some of the most hospitable people on Earth. Each of its countries is home to an epic: Egypt the mighty River Nile, Jordan the ancient city of Petra, Morocco the soaring Atlas Mountains, and Israel the Western Wall.

North America (a)

North America

On a continent as enormous as North America you'd need many years to unearth all its many treasures. From the far reaches of colourful, cultural Canada to the tropical tip of the Florida Keys, this is a continent so diverse in topography that it can be blanketed in snow in the north while a heat wave rages in the south.

Central America (a)

Central America

Flanked by two enormous continents, it's easy to miss out on Central America. But you definitely shouldn't. The small ribbon of land that joins the north and south Americas is beset with many jewels, from the lapis seas of the Riviera Maya, the emerald greens flora of the indigenous territories' tangled jungle or the deep tiger's eye of the Mayan and Incan ruins that speckle the region with ancient, eerie history.
