Day 1 UK / Buenos Aires
Welcome to Buenos Aires! Elegant, old-worldly, the city is brimming with Latin American character and some things that are uniquely Argentine, such as its tango bars and overflowing kiosks. On arrival at Ezeiza International Airport you'll be met by a member of the A&K team and driven to the Four Seasons for three nights.

Day 2 Buenos Aires
Your guide will take you on an insightful tour of Argentina's atmospheric capital, starting with the historic (Plaza de Mayo, San Telmo, La Boca) before visiting the famous Bombonera Stadium, home to the legendary football giants, Boca Juniors, whose colours of vivid blue and yellow adorn much of the architecture in the surrounding barrio. You may even get to watch the players train.

Day 3 Buenos Aires
Time to saddle up! You're spending the day at the polo of equivalent of Buckingham Palace: the home of Adolfo Cambiaso at his estancia just outside the city. The Cambiaso family are the most influential in the polo world, and Adolfo himself is the world's greatest polo player. You'll have access to the pool before you begin your polo clinic, learning the ins and outs of the famous sport –suitable for beginners to advanced players. A well-earned lunch will be a relaxed outdoor asado.

Days 4 - 5 El Calafate
Leaving Buenos Aires your next destination is El Calafate. After your short flight you'll be driven to Adventure Domes Patagonia, your home for the next two nights. The temporary domes are placed in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier, with enormous windows so you can enjoy the views from your bed. There's plenty of opportunities for adventure here, from trekking with crampons over the glacier to navigating the shores of Lago Argentino. The Las Colonias peninsula is home to guanacos, foxes, ñandues (a type of ostrich) and condors, and you'll explore the incredible wilderness setting on a trek. Learning about the flora and fauna, you'll get up close to nature before boarding a flight to Bariloche.

Days 6 - 8 Bariloche
Bariloche is the Alps of South America. The region offers unbelievably beautiful photo opportunities and your hotel, Llao Llao Hotel &Resort, is located amid some of the most attractive scenery in Argentina. We've set aside plenty of free time so you can explore at your own pace. On your first full day we'll be taking you on a tour of the region, exploring the Gutiérrez Lake, following the scenic Route 40 as it winds deep into the wilds. Now it's time to saddle up! Your steeds will be ready and waiting for you at a beautiful estancia where you'll mount up for a ride on horseback through the woodland trails surrounding Lake Mascardi, followed by a traditional Patagonian lunch (wine included for the adults!). The adventure continues in the afternoon, when you can choose between trekking up to Cerro Agostini's waterfall or paddling around the bay in a double kayak. You can warm up afterwards with tea at the Casa de los Alamos.

Days 9 - 11 Ibera Wetlands
After a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day you'll be driven to the airport for your flight to Posadas in the Ibera Wetlands, via Buenos Aires. You'll be staying at the Puerto Valle Lodge, perfectly situated in for exploring the Ibera Wetlands. The Ibera Natural Reserve is one of the largest freshwater reservoirs on the continent, and the largest protected area in Argentina covering 1.3 million hectares. Keep your eyes firmly peeled, as you'll have the chance to spot otter, maned wolf, deer and two species of caiman. Puerto Valle is nestled in the north-eastern corner of the reserve, and has become an extremely convenient gateway to discover the highlights of the region. Its location provides private access to the wetlands. During your stay here you'll be able to take part in many activities such as kayaking and adventure walks.

Days 12 - 13 Posadas / Puerto Iguazu
Your next stop is Puerto Iguazu. Here you'll enjoy a full day visit to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls National Park. This side of park was created in 1934 and covers some 50,000 hectares, offering unique contact with nature, since it is possible to get within a few steps of the impressive cascades. You'll feel (literally –waterproof clothing is necessary!) the force of the water and observe its surrounding vegetation, from birds to butterflies, as you stroll along the footbridges and roads that surround the falls. There's plenty to see at the Visitor's Centre and the Nature Interpretation Centre, too, where you'll begin an amazing tour. Choose to see Devils Gorge, to walk along the Upper Trail with magnificent views of the Upper Iguazu River or the Lower Trail, for a view from below the falls.

Day 14 Puerto Iguazu / Buenos Aires
It's time to say farewell to Argentina. You'll be taking a short flight from Puerto Iguazu to Buenos Aires, where you'll board your flight back to the UK.
