Botswana; 9 Nights

Day 1 - London/Johannesburg
An overnight British Airways flight from London-Heathrow takes you to Johannesburg.

Day 2 - Johannesburg/Moremi

On arrival in Johannesburg, connect with your onward flight to Maun and take a light aircraft to the heart of the Okavango Delta. Your home is Chief's Camp, an exclusive lodge, with 12 luxurious, private bush pavilions overlooking the plains or, seasonally, the lagoons. This is a perfect venue for your first three nights in Botswana.

Days 3 to 4 - Moremi

Chief's Camp is set on raised ground: in season an island, at other times enjoying views over the plains. It's abundant in wildlife with many cheetah and leopard sightings. Occasionally visits by hunting packs of wild dogs can be seen. Two days of morning and evening game drives and, subject to water levels, seasonal trips by mokoro - a great way to experience the unforgettable sights of nature.

Day 5 - Moremi/Okavango Delta

A short air transfer brings you to a beautiful area of the Delta. Here you have a choice of staying at either Baines' Camp or Stanley's Camp. Baines' has just five rooms and is located on a permanent water hole. Stanley's Camp is a small and exclusive lodge of just eight classic safari tents, sited at the very heart of a private concession of 104,000 hectares.

Day 6 - Okavango Delta
A full day free to explore one of Africa's most beautiful regions. Buffalo, elephant, giraffe and lion are all regularly seen, but one of the highlights of any visit to this area is to walk with a herd of semi-habituated elephants, sharing and learning from their daily routine. Walking safaris are a special pleasure - especially with elephant.

Day 7 - Okavango Delta/Chobe

A light aircraft flight from the private airstrip takes you to Kasane and close by Chobe Chilwero, overlooking the river and the flood plain of Chobe National Park. In the heart of Africa, you will find this luxury lodge brings sophisticated comforts, including specialist spa treatments such as aromatherapy and massage without compromising the atmosphere of an untouched wilderness region.

Day 8 - Chobe
A full day free to explore Chobe National Park, famous for large concentrations of elephant as well as herds of buffalo. Game viewing is usually by open vehicles, but there are waterborne safaris on the Chobe River where you may encounter crocodile and hippo as well as a startling range of birdlife. The river is perfect for a relaxing sundowner.

Day 9 - Chobe/Johannesburg/London

Leave Chobe today and transfer the short distance to Kasane airport for your flight to Johannesburg to connect with your overnight British Airways flight to London Heathrow arriving early day 10.

Alternatively why not extend your stay by a few nights and take in the mighty Victoria Falls?

Victoria Falls Extension

Day 9 - Chobe/Victoria Falls
Leave Chobe and drive to Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world. The choice is yours: stay in the colonial elegance of the Victoria Falls Hotel in the bustling town of Victoria Falls or on the Zambian side of the falls at Sussi & Chuma situated on the banks of the Zambezi.

Day 10 - Victoria Falls

Africa's greatest waterfall and the town close by are the hub of adventure activities. Light aircraft and helicopters make thrilling sorties up the Batoka Gorge and through the spray of the Falls, white water rafting shoots the rapids downstream, bungee-jumpers leap from the bridge linking Zimbabwe with Zambia and on the still waters and hippo pools above the Falls, boats embark on sundowner cruises.

Day 11 - Victoria Falls/London

Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Johannesburg, to connect with your overnight British Airways flight, arriving London-Heathrow early day 12.
