Thank you for organising a fantastic holiday (Annie Jensen) The guides and drivers were helpful considerate and polite. All the guides were informative in their own way which we found interesting. Located in the untouched archipelago of Koh Rong off Cambodia, the two islands which make up Song Saa (Khmer for 'the sweethearts') are the natural setting for this hotel – the first of its kind in Cambodia. Based on the Maldivian footprint, Song Saa features 27 overwater, rainforest and beach villas, and has been built with the environment in mind using sustainable materials. The resort's tasteful design shows real attention to detail, and features beautiful fabrics, artworks and a palette of neutral, earthy colours reflecting its natural surroundings.
As a result of design and its isolated setting, the harmonious atmosphere at Song Saa is delightfully conducive to relaxation. Snorkel over beautiful coral reefs, wander among lush rainforest or lie on the white sand beach. At the resort's heart is a first class restaurant and lounge, positioned just off the island's shoreline, surrounded by sea. A short stroll on the boardwalk will leave you perfectly positioned to take in the sunsets and seascapes. Other facilities include a water sports centre and a beautiful wedding venue.
Best time to travel
The best time to travel would be during the dry season of October to March, avoiding the monsoon season of June to September. Temperatures remain fairly constant year round.
