Wrap up warm and allow us to transfer you to Whistler. Whistler’s wintery activities are plentiful, and you’ve got loads of time to explore the many options on offer. Spend your days enjoying the excellent skiing, but at night it’s not time to hunker down. Oh no. Why not take a sleigh ride under the stars, as the horses pull you through pristine snow past the glittering lights of the village to a cosy cabin where you can warm up with another hot chocolate before heading on your way. A snowmobile tour is the ideal way to explore as a family, as you follow wide mountain trails along the Fitzsimmons Creek and enjoy a perfect mix of easy riding and spectacular scenery. And how could you possibly come all the way to Canada without having a go at dog sledding? Let your eager and powerful dog tea lead you into the old growth forest of the Callaghan Valley where you’ll warm up at a trapper’s cabin on Totem Pole Lake, learning about the history of Canadian fur trappers. Join your musher in harnessing and staging the dogs, learn the commands and feel the thrill of driving your own team. You’ll even be able to strap on your snowshoes for a trip through the snow in the Callaghan Valley.
