Day 1 UK / Winnipeg
Welcome to Winnipeg, the capital of Manitoba. Here you'll be staying at The Grand by Lakeview, at the airport. Tonight you'll have dinner at the hotel where you'll meet the group and your adventure specialist –we recommend turning in for a good night's rest as there's an early start in the morning.
The Grand by Lakeview | Meals: Dinner

Day 2 Winnipeg / Churchill
Take a short flight to Churchill where you'll then hop onto a seaplane for a dramatic entrance to your next destination, Seal River Heritage Lodge. Your first view of the winding Hudson Bay is an aerial panorama, so be prepared to spot huge pods of whales, countless birds, caribou and the magnificent polar bear. The Seal River Estuary is a summer favourite for these goliaths and they are regularly seen swimming or basking near the water's edge. A thorough orientation on travelling in polar bear country will be provided and after a hearty lunch you'll head out to the coast for the first time. A hearty dinner beckons.
Seal River Heritage Lodge | Meals: Full Board and activities

Days 3 - 6 Churchill
Over the following four days you'll have early breakfasts to make the most of the days on the coast. Your itinerary is not fixed due to water and weather conditions, but you'll be able to choose from the following: tide and weather permitting, head out to see for a marine tour to view beluga whales, seals, seabirds and polar bears in a large 12-person zodiac –equipped with a hydrophone so that you can listen to whale songs. Expect to see hundreds of whales. Beluga whales are very curious socialites and will investigate your presence with a bold courage expressed by few other creatures. If you're keen to stay on dry land, hop aboard a custom-made tundra tracker to explore the coast by buggy, discovering the stunning shoreline and its wildlife with a picnic lunch en route. Trekking and walking tours are a daily part of the time at the lodge and the tours range from short jaunts to photograph a passing caribou to day trips with a packed lunch. Bird lovers will enjoy the plentiful bird life, with over 100 species of birds visiting the area, and there are many lectures and talks on the wildlife, history and people of the region. Should you decide that curling up by the fireplace with a good book or enjoying a hot drink and sharing stories with your fellow adventurers is what you need, you can feel free to do that too. At night, lift your gaze skywards for a chance to see the greatest light show on Earth: the aurora borealis. The northern skies are a perfect ballroom for the aurora.
Seal River Heritage Lodge | Meals: Full Board and activities

Day 7 Return to Churchill
After a last hearty lodge breakfast, fly back to Churchill where you're free to explore before your flight to Winnipeg later that day. Upon your arrival into Winnipeg collect your bags and head off to your hotel for the evening The Grand by Lakeview.
The Grand by Lakeview | Meals: Room only

Day 8 Depart / UK
After a good night's sleep enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at your hotel before heading back to the airport for your connecting flight home.
