Guest Testimonial

The Galapagos. After Mashpi we were somewhat apprehensive and hoping that the luxury and diversity of the Lodge would not deter from the different experience that was awaiting us on the MV Eclipse. With architecture possibly dating back to the 16th Century, Hosteria Su Merced is a delightful, well-restored family house with a wonderful history and a beautiful, traditional style. The family welcome you warmly into their home and are proud to discuss the long history of the hacienda and its own pretty chapel. There are seven simple rooms, in-keeping with the style of the house, with colonial furniture, the odd, charming antique and bright pictures on the wall. Living is communal and good meals are served family style in the dining room.
