A first-class service: finding a suitable cruise to fit my parameters; managing to extend the time during which the offer would remain open so as to give me more time to discuss the trip with my travelling companion; and finally making all the train and hotel bookings to make the whole holiday as trouble free as possible. I cannot speak too highly of the way in which everything been conducted.

This exclusive 31 room boutique property in Agios Stefanos just north of Mykonos town itself is a newcomer to the island's already glittering hotel scene. Combining Mykonian architecture and contemporary furnishings and fittings, the Grace is all about service. Opposite the sandy beach of Agios Stefanos look out over the aquamarine bay to the island of Tinos and relax.
Ideally located a short complimentary drive away from Mykonos town where the shopping and nightlife on offer are abundant. Enjoy a cocktail in Little Venice or wander the myriad of streets that fortified that island against pirates. These streets are now home to designer boutiques and delicious food outlets.
Most of the rooms are sea-facing and have ample bathrooms. The reception area with nuances of the Aegean Sea, the stylish pool-side area adjacent to the Grace bar & restaurant, the refreshing spa and the gym combine to create a special holiday in Mykonos.
Best time to be there
The mainland and islands are very hot and dry in July and especially August, the preferred travel month for French, Italian and Spanish holiday makers, making conditions busy, hotel availability limited and the beaches crowded. May, June and September are infinitely more comfortable and generally less expensive.
Rhodes, with its refreshing westerly winds and moderate summer heat, makes it the ideal place to travel for a summer holiday or a short break in the spring or Autumn.
