THE CAMP
Perched on the edge of the precipitous cliffs of Wadi Dana, this beautifully styled building merges elements of village vernacular architecture with more modern elements, creating a structure with a definable Arabic character, unlike any other in Jordan, offering breath-taking views of the reserve. Close by is the small village of Dana where guests can get a glimpse of the old Ottoman houses and traditional lifestyle. Explore the terraced gardens where fruit and herbs are cultivated by the locals.

Dana Guest House offers nine simple, comfortable rooms set in a friendly ambience. All rooms have air-conditioning and satellite television. Considering that the Guesthouse was originally meant to house researchers, all the rooms share external toilets & showers, except for one suite, which has a private bathroom, adding character and authenticity to the entire experience. Most rooms also come with private terraces that offer spectacular views of the surrounding wadi and mountains.

Situated next door is a small handicrafts workshop and is a great place for visitors to purchase local arts and crafts; there is also a nature reserve museum. The income from the reserve helps to fund the conservation efforts established by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN).

The terrace is the perfect spot in the morning to watch the amazing birdlife on offer.
