Sofitel Agadir Royal Bay Resort
Why we like it
- All 273 rooms are elegantly designed with views over the ocean, pool or landscaped gardens. Each category offering a different style between Moroccan and Modern
- The Sofitel Royal Bay is set in sands of Baie des Palmiers, one of Agadir's quieter spots and conveniently located just ten minutes from the town centre
- Agadir is Morocco's largest beach resort and benefits from over 300 days of sunshine a year. It was once a traditional Moroccan town, then was completely rebuilt into a modern resort after the devastating earthquake in 1960
- The Royal Bay is set on a private, protected beach
- The 2 bedroom villas on the beachfront with private pools are ideal for families or for those looking for ultimate privacy
Whilst by the ocean take advantage of the outdoor spa; why not enjoy a truly relaxing massage on the beach as you listen to the waves.
We returned yesterday from Marrakech and I wanted to tell you what a fantastic experience we had with Abercrombie & Kent. We really enjoyed our trip, the hotel was amazing and the whole team was fantastic as well. Thank you very much again for the wonderful trip. We will definitely use the services of your company again.

La Nasse the fish market restaurant, open for dinner is a mix between Asian and Moroccan using the local catch of the day. A health and beauty complex includes a fitness centre, hammam, sauna, massage rooms and an outdoor spa. Watersports can be arranged from the private beach and there are also three golf courses just a short drive from the hotel.
Best time to be there
Morocco is warm and sunny year round. The best time to visit is mid-February to June and September to December. Coastal Morocco is cooled by sea breezes. The peaks of the Atlas Mountains are snow-capped for most of the year.
