THE LODGE
Benguerra Lodge is an African style lodge on the beach, with no air-conditioning and the lodge using natural gas the carbon footprint is minimal. The indigenous forest has been left intact so the birdlife has been able to flourish.
The accommodation consists of 2 Cabanas, 10 Casitas and one luxury 2 bedroom villa, each come with their own private deck and plunge pool. With the Casitas you have your own Mozambican butler/host to look after you during your stay; some of the members of staff at Benguerra have been at the lodge since it open in 1988 giving you the most charming service.
The 900 m² Villa is nestled in the privacy and seclusion of a natural milkwood forest. The luxury Villa features two romantic, elegantly appointed en suite bedrooms, a central living area with sala, lounge, bar and dining room, a private rim-flow pool overlooking Benguerra Bay, and enclosed lounge with satellite television, audio system and book collection, a rooftop terrace with Bedouin shade and a fully-equipped kitchen.
