Located in the far north-east corner of Namibia, the Caprivi area is a game-rich lush wetland region like no other in the country. In respect of flora, fauna and terrain, this part of Namibia is similar to Botswana's Okavango Delta. Caprivi properties offer excellent value and the volume of people minimal. The fauna and flora of the area is protected within three distinct national parks, the Bwabwata, Mudumu and Mamili National Parks. The wildlife is impressive, a birders paradise, with more than 450 species having been discovered. Large herds of elephants can rival any in the Chobe National Park, particularly on the Linyanti River at the southern point of the Mudumu National Park.
