Mosaic Private Sanctuary Lagoon Lodge
Why we like it
- Located just outside of the quaint village of Stanford
- A picturesque private sanctuary with the backdrop of the Overberg Mountains
- Superb South African food and award winning local wines
- Relax in tranquil surroundings
- A haven for birdwatchers
- The Lagoon Lodge has five suites all feature fireplaces, outdoor showers and private decks with commanding views
- Owner run and managed this is a very special place and one that requires more than a one night stopover
Indulge in fabulous picnic baskets at the 1892 Spookhuis Country Cafe under the ancient milkwood trees on the edge of the lagoon.
The whole trip worked wonderfully smoothly and we felt it was simply the best holiday we have ever been on- which is high praise as we have travelled broadly all over the world.
