Comprising of twelve luxurious thatched east African style tents each benefit from riverbed views, private wooden decks, Victorian baths and outdoor showers. The Tandala suite is set apart, with its own pool, personal cook, ranger and game-viewing vehicle. Aside from twice daily game drives, bush walks and bird hide viewing with picnic breakfast or lunch can also be arranged. The rangers at Tanda Tula have specialist knowledge of wildlife conservation. For the past five years, Tanda Tula has served as the main sponsor for the Save The Elephants Transboundary Elephant Research Project. The study tracks the movements of elephants in order to enable the reserve to make informed management decisions.

Best time to be there
October to May is the best time to visit the Cape. Game viewing is better during the drier months of April to September. The wildflower season is generally from mid August to mid September. The whale watching season runs from June to November.
