Our travel consultant Robin was excellent; he was able to answer all our questions and gave us valuable guidance on what to take on our trip. Our travel documents arrived well in advance of our trip and Robin kept in touch right until the time of our departure. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Rubundo Island Camp is a unique experience located on the largest island national park in Africa. Only an hour away by flight from the dusty plains of the Serengeti yet on arrival at Rubundo it is a true tropical paradise with verdant jungle and the mighty Lake Victoria, this is without question an alternative to a beach option before or after a safari. The camp has carefully been constructed using local materials and techniques so that the camp blends seamlessly into this untouched wilderness. The camp is set around a small bay the main area comprises elegant open-sided mess areas and a swimming pool with enviable views of the lake. As with all wildlife encounters the chimp sightings cannot always be guaranteed. Rubundo Island Camp is a great choice for families the camp welcomes children over the age of 6 years old.
