Take a local Tuk Tuk to the stunning Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a Theravada Buddhist temple which sits on the top of the Doi Suthep Mountain offering panoramic views of Chiang Mai city.
In Chiang Mai we were met by Aung, who was also lovely and took care of us very well. Once again I am so glad that you recommended the 137 Pillars House, it was perfect and I would have happily stayed there some more days.

Best time to be there
November to March. April is often the hottest month of the year, and also the month of the celebratory 'Songkran' festivals. May to October is the rainy season, with short bursts of rainstorms refreshing the green paddy fields once more.
