THE CAMP
Elephant Hills is Thailand's first luxury tented jungle camp, combining the idea of African camps with the tropical forest environment of Southern Thailand. The spacious tents feature furniture handmade by skilled local craftsmen using natural materials and provide all the comfort you would find in a hotel room. The surrounding forest is filled with unique animals and plants; and once the dawn mist rolls back from the hills, the lush greenery stunningly lights the day and gives you magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.
A night at Elephant Hills is not to be missed - the campfire creates a warm and romantic atmosphere in which to share travel tales, accompanied by an exciting concerto of sounds by the rainforest inhabitants.
Our consultant (Annie Jensen) really was excellent designing a great itinery minimising our time waiting around for transfers and both hotels, Four Seasons Bali and Oberoi Lombok exceeded our expections.
