Key Responsibilities
  • Working with the Sales and Programme Management team to develop and deliver our UK travel community strategy 
  • Build strong relationships with our key agents to maximise revenues through, but not limited to, marketing, delivering staff training and educational trips 
  • Conduct a minimum of 40 sales calls a month and ensure all sales activity is logged, identifying key trends where applicable
  • Work with our product and programme managers to develop compelling packages, tailored for the agent community to maximise volume and revenue
  • Identify and win new business – for our tailor made, villas and escorted tours programmes 
  • Organise and host educational trips 
  • Attend appropriate industry events and forums 
  • Proved market feedback and intelligence to the executive and senior management team
  • Act as an ambassador for A&K, providing exemplary customer service to our travel agents and their employees
  • To be included in and be aware of all agent enquiries and quotes being handled by Travel Consultants to drive conversion
  • To act as the agents’ point of contact for escalation purposes
  • Negotiate commission levels with agents in accordance with management guidance

Desired Experience
  • A minimum of five years’ experience within the travel industry
  • A minimum of two years selling to the UK agency community
  • Excellent communication skills
