You can’t switch drivers during the tour, so make sure you book your own buggy if you wish to take the wheel.
Off-roading, as the locals refer to dune-buggy riding, is a popular pastime, but this is the only public beach which allows it to take place. There’s no need to worry if this is your first time. Your local guide will give full instructions and safety gear. Once you are kitted out, you’ll be free to roam the beautiful Oceano Dunes. Additional notes about the tour
All drivers must be 16 years old, with a valid driver's licence, and accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 year. Please take along your photo-ID as this is required. The ride is not recommended for children under the age of four. You will not be able to switch drivers if you book a tandem buggy.
