You’ll dine in the desert under the stars, gazing at Uluru (Ayers Rock), before rising early to watch the sunrise over this remarkable landscape. Other classic Australian experiences waiting for you include going walkabout in a UNESCO World Heritage rainforest with a local from the Kuku Yalanji people to guide you, sailing and snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef and exploring the alleyways and arcades of cosmopolitan Melbourne.

Arrive Melbourne, Australia

Fly from London to one of Australia’s most exciting and cosmopolitan cities: Melbourne. Upon arrival, transfer to your luxury hotel in the heart of the city. You’ll be perfectly placed to experience all that Melbourne has to offer.

Hop on one of Melbourne’s famous trams and ride with the locals as you explore the many differing suburbs of this eclectic city. The rest of your day is at leisure.

Yarra Valley

Spend an indulgent day in the Yarra Valley, one of Australia's leading winemaking regions. With a picturesque backdrop of the Yarra Ranges and renowned restaurants throughout, wine and food lovers alike will revel in everything the Yarra Valley has to offer. Sample your way around boutique wineries and private cellar-door experiences, then enjoy a sumptuous four-course dining expertly paired with local wines.

Uluru

A short flight swaps blue seas for the rugged reds of Australia’s centre. The legendary monolith of Uluru (Ayers Rock) will be here to greet you. See ancient rock art and learn the legends of the indigenous people for whom this area is hallowed ground. This evening, you should be treated to a spectacular sunset.

Kata Tjuta

At dawn, watch the sun rise over the dramatic rock formations of Kata Tjuta (‘many heads’) during a private walking tour. As you make your way between this area’s remarkable natural landmarks, your guide offers insights into the dynamic ecology, medicinal plants and hardy wildlife – including how the local Anangu people track them. At dusk, enjoy an exclusive desert dinner served beneath a canopy of stars.

Port Douglas

After flying directly to Cairns transfer to Silky Oaks Lodge, an oasis of elegance in the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest, one of the oldest living rainforests in the world. Spectacularly located on the Mossman River, it is the ultimate destination from which to explore Far North Queensland.
