Take a thrilling balloon flight over the Kulala Wilderness Reserve, one of Namibia’s most inspiring landscapes. You will depart early in the morning for the optimum colour contrasts. Capture incredible photographs of the dunes, distant mountains and expansive desert plains. This area is also renowned for its high diversity of fauna, so be on the watch for wildlife traversing the crags. On landing, you are served a delicious champagne breakfast to enjoy alfresco. Afterwards, you are transferred back to your accommodation.
You may be lucky enough to spot springbok, gemsbok, wild ostrich, hyena and jackal as you cruise the skies. Keep your eyes open for the birds of prey, which are able to thrive in these arid conditions. This area is also known for having the quiver tree, unmistakable in appearance. You will gain a new perspective on the dramatic dunes of Sossusvlei and come to understand the many different habitats of this part of Namibia.
