About Old Mondoro
This simple camp, and sister camp of Chiawa, Old Mondoro is located towards the eastern side of the Lower Zambezi National Park in an open area of faidherbia forest. Just four en suite bush chalets are made of local pole and thatch construction and set out along a channel of the Zambezi frequented by copious hippo. Activities are focussed around game drives and boating, however with so much activity in or around the camp it isn't necessary to venture too far away.
