About The Indian Pacific

Travelling between two oceans, from the Indian of the west to the great Pacific in the east, you will discover just how vast Australia is and experience the many magnificent and diverse regions it is home to. Choose to stay in Platinum or Gold Service; each cabin features en suite facilities and doubles as a private lounge in the day before being turned down at night. If you desire some extra space, the Chairman’s Carriage and the Sir John Forrest Carriage are both available to charter.

When staying in Platinum or Gold Service, there are a number of off train excursions for you to enjoy along the way. You can discover Western Australia’s capital city Perth and the stunning views from Kings Park, explore the sights of the ‘Silver City’ with a heritage tour of Broken Hill and ride a camel through the ancient desert of the Nullarbor Plains.
