One&Only Mandarina is perfectly placed between the tropical rainforests of Sierra de Vallejo reserve and the Pacific Ocean. Eco-designer villas are tucked into the forest canopy and perched on rocky coastal cliffs.

This Mexican beach resort at Riviera Nayarit boasts spectacular pools, where you can watch migrating whales, three restaurants showcasing authentic gastronomy, wellness gurus and an adventure-packed kids’ club.

Each treehouse has its own private plunge pool and intimate open-air living space. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls, indoor and al fresco seating and dining areas make this a standout One&Only property.

Around-the-clock butler service allows for total relaxation. While you peacefully float in Carao Pool under the rainforest canopy, kids are welcomed at the Alma Pool and at the Jetty Beach Club where there is a cove and sandy beach.

There are three light and airy restaurants with treetop or coastal views, and each have a menu curated by celebrity chefs Olivier Deboise, of Guadalajara’s Anita Li, and Enrique Olvera, of Mexico City’s renowned Pujol. Family-friendly Alma Restaurant has seasonal Pan-American and Mediterranean cuisine, while the beachside Jetty Beach Club is a more casual dining experience where you can sample the catch of the day or enjoy a seafood taco. Suspended on the cliffside is Carao which serves dishes with an artistic twist to contemporary Mexican cuisine.

Signature treatments in the spa blend modern science and local culture. Wellness rituals inspired by ancient rites are offered, with curanderas (traditional healers) who use plants, herbs, and practices to guide guests through immersive spiritual ceremonies. Six treatment rooms are built within a volcanic rock garden. For the more active, the resort also has tennis courts, equestrian club, archery course, jungle hiking trails, bike rental and adventure challenge course with ziplining.
