The Arabian Desert stretches from the top to the toe of Saudi Arabia. Within this vast area lies the largest continuous sand desert in the world: Rub' al Khali – a sea of golden sand dunes whose ‘waves’ can rise as high as 250 metres. Beyond presenting a starkly beautiful backdrop, it is a playground for the adventurous.
This half-day experience allows you to revel in Saudi Arabia’s dunescapes. Go dune bashing in four-wheel vehicles, try your hand at sandboarding, hike in the hoofsteps of ancient camel caravans or stargaze as you camp out under a crystal-clear, jet-black sky. You will be among the new wave of travellers heading off the pilgrim trail to the unspoilt, lesser-visited corners of this remote desert kingdom.
