group tours & PHOTOGRAPHIC journeys
to speak to a consultant
Whilst we specialise in tailor made travel and personalised itineraries, we understand that, for many reasons, you may prefer to enjoy a group tour with other like-minded travellers.
Thus we have created a selection of small, exclusive group tours led by local experts, who offer real insight and knowledge. Moreover we have chosen these experts for their absolute dedication to understanding those little extras and personalised touches that will make your tour all the more distinctive. Our group numbers are kept deliberately low, averaging from eight to twelve people.
Photographic Journeys
We have teamed up with acclaimed photo-journalist Jon Nicholson to offer you an exceptional opportunity to visit and photograph some of the the most spectacular countries in the world. With Jon's experience of over 26 years as a professional photographer and A&K's local knowledge and ability to open closed doors, you will not only return with wonderful memories, but also a stunning photographic record of your journey.
Jon has been a photographer for over 26 years and is well known for his behind-the-scenes work with many of the UK's top sporting personalities and teams, including Lewis Hamilton and the McLaren Mercedes team during the 2008 Formula One World Championship. His non-sporting work includes shoots for many of the world's major magazines such The National Geographic, Sunday Times Magazine and Condé Nast Traveller. He works with many of the UN agencies including UNICEF and UNFPA to record topical issues throughout many parts of the world. What makes Jon's photography stand out is the exclusive access he is granted; his area of expertise is to follow his subject intently,
whether an individual or situation, and document the whole story.
As well as leading our specialist photographic group journeys, Jon is available as a private guide to accompany all or part of an individual trip.
AIR TRAVEL
Where air travel is included in the tour price, they are quoted based on economy class air fares with IATA scheduled airlines. We can offer very competitively priced flight upgrades (round trip or one way) to Business and First Class on international flights to all the destinations featured. We can also arrange add-on flights from United Kingdom regional airports.
PRE AND POST TRIP EXTENSIONS
It is possible to extend the tour itinerary on an independent basis. Please contact us for further information and/or suggestions - we will be happy to help.
TOUR PRICES
The price of each tour, together with single room/occupancy supplements, is calculated on a minimum number of people travelling, which varies according to the tour. Should participation fall below this number, provided that numbers are not too low, we will endeavour to operate a tour, often without additional cost. However, we do reserve the right to adjust prices should it become necessary.
