Antananarivo is one of Africa's most beautiful and unique capitals. Built on and around twelve sacred hills are clusters of red clay houses and churches. The roads have a unique mix of cars, buses and local Malagasy pushing wheelbarrows piled high with their produce. The Zoma is one of Africa's biggest markets where you can purchase anything from fresh fruit to household goods. The market is especially busy on a Friday when local Malagasy come from long distances to catch up on the week's events.
