Masoala National Park is one of Madagascar's largest and most diverse parks.  The park is made up of mountains and valleys, falling down to the crisp white sandy beaches of Antongil Bay. The forests are one of the last refuges for the rare Red-ruffed lemur and the stump-tailed leaf chameleon. Nocturnal woolly lemurs can be found sitting in the folks of trees and if you are extremely fortunate you may even see the very rare aye aye. Aye Ayes have a special thin middle finger which it uses to tap on the branches of trees to find grubs. With its rodent-like teeth it then gnaws holes into the bark and inserts is narrow middle finger to pull out the grub.
