Mexico City Tours and Travel

Mexico City and the Federal District, known collectively as DF, offers the best and all the rest of Mexico.  From the ancient pyramids of Teotihuacan to the modern sky scrapers of this pulsating megalopolis, Mexico's ancient past and present collide to create a unique synergy with a foot in both worlds. The beautiful setting that surrounds Mexico's Federal District offers quaint getaways and numerous excursions to delight travelers and locals alike.

Mexico City
With famous locations such as the Zócalo, the great plaza in the city's center, international art museums, world-class restaurants, numerous parks and the lakes district, Mexico City is a great place to wander around on your own or take a guided city tour.

Cuernavaca
With a climate milder than Mexico City's, Cuernavaca has been a popular getaway for city dwellers since colonial times. Housing many museums and fine restaurants, the many hidden courtyards contain exquisite gardens and magnificent patios. Great for Spanish language immersion courses and one-on-one instruction, Cuernavaca offers a welcome escape from the bustling and often polluted Mexico City.

Taxco
Known worldwide for its intricate and ornate silverwork, this colonial mountain town is one of Mexico's most picturesque and pleasant to visit. Cobblestone streets lined with dense flowers and splendid buildings lead to finely laid out plazas and hundreds of silver shops and restaurants.

Puebla
Containing more than 70 churches in the historic city center alone, Puebla maintains its close ties to colonial Spain through its architecture and famous azueles, which are painted ceramic tiles.  Exclusive boutiques and restored buildings add to the modern melding of worlds both past and present.

Teotihuacan
Just outside of Mexico City, these ancient Aztec pyramids contain the Sun and Moon temples, along with other important structures.  A favorite destination for all who come to Mexico, these pyramids are synonymous with the city itself.
