Best time to be there
Oman's climate differs from one area to another. It is hot and humid in the coastal areas in the summer between May and August, while it is hot and dry in the interior with the exception of the higher mountains, which enjoy a moderate climate round the year. The climate is best from September through to April.

The 'Wahiba Sands' often described as a perfect example of a Sand Sea consist of large dunes running from North to South, some attaining a height of about 100 metres. Made famous by the exploits of Wilfred Thesiger, the Wahiba Sands are an opportunity to experience the sheer vastness of the desert wilderness and a night to remember with a sumptuous dinner while seated on Bedouin carpets and under the star-studded sky.

Guest Testimonial
I can easily say that nothing - nothing - in the natural world compares to an hour spent with wild mountain gorillas. An encounter with these magnificent beasts is absolutely without parallel.![]()
