Tanzania offers great diversity: from the snow-capped Kilimanjaro to the white sandy beaches of Zanzibar, from the open plains of the Serengeti to the forests of the Mahale Mountains. As a result, safaris in Tanzania are amongst the most celebrated in the world.

Abercrombie & Kent luxury Tanzania safaris offer the perfect way to get under the skin of this amazing and beautiful country.

To begin with we offer the ultimate, most exclusive form of Tanzania safari: with private luxury mobile camps pitched in the very best spots for wildlife and fitted to suit your individual requirements.

Arguably the most magnificent park in Africa, the Serengeti has vast landscapes and prolific amounts of game. Famed for the annual migration, the Serengeti is a must for any first time visitor to Tanzania. The Ngorongoro Crater meanwhile is a true Garden of Eden, with highland forest covering the sheer sides of the caldera, a spectacular barrier encircling the plains wildlife that roams the flat crater floor making it ideal viewing ground for a superb Tanzania safari.

In the south and west of Tanzania lie some remote but truly incredible parks. Off the beaten track in the west of Tanzania is Katavi National Park, home to the rare sable and roan antelopes. Mahale Mountains on the shore of Lake Tanganyika are the breathtaking home of a large chimpanzee population. The Selous, Africa's largest game reserve, is a remote and untamed wilderness area that is great for walking safaris in Tanzania. Ruaha is home to a rich variety of wildlife and is one of Tanzania's best kept secrets.

The choice of options and distances involved in planning a safari in Tanzania make our expertise and knowledge invaluable.

An A&K safari in Africa is individually tailored to suit your needs and timescales. However, as a guide, a 13 day Tanzania safari, including Zanzibar, will cost from £5,450 per person based on two adults sharing with flights from the UK and subject to availability.
