Why we like it
- The one, two and three bedroom villas have full kitchens and the resort can arrange a private chef
- Rock Maison is a private wooden deck built on a shoal below the Cliff at Cap Restaurant on the water’s edge, perfect for an extra special romantic dinner
- The Naked Fisherman restaurant is so-called because of its vantage point overlooking the sea where, rumour has it, a local fisherman skinny dips every morning
- In every room there’s a bottle of complimentary Cap Maison Elixir, made from rum which is aged in oak barrels on the premises
About Cap Maison
Elevated on an ocean bluff above the beautiful waters of the Caribbean, with views stretching out to Martinique, sits Cap Maison. Once a family home, Cap Maison offers a subtle Spanish-colonial style of balustrades, Louvre windows and lofty verandas mixed with tropical Caribbean gardens and enchanting cliff top vistas. Attention to detail is paramount in the cuisine, service and the rooms. All 49 rooms enjoy hand painted tiles, rich fabrics and BOSE iPod docking station, whilst Oceanview Villas have direct sea views and private pools. Nestling below the hotel is Smugglers Cove beach offering great snorkelling and the hotel Beach Bar. Other facilities include two swimming pools, a walk in wine cellar with regular tastings, a library, a well-being centre and a cliff top bar.
For fitness fans there’s a gym, the Cap Maison Hiking and Running club and non-motorised water sports and there’s also a kids club during the summer holidays.
