About Hotel Union Øye
A historic hotel with oodles of charm, Hotel Union Øye is located in the peaceful village of Øye, in the Norangdal valley of the Sunmmøre Alps. The hotel dates from 1891, and the 27 beautifully-appointed rooms are named after its illustrious past guests: Princess Victoria, author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and the Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen, to name just a few. Brimming with gorgeous, lovingly-selected antiques and pieces of art, no two rooms are the same and most have four-poster beds.
From all-day hikes to fishing and cycling, there are are plenty ways to explore the stunning surrounding area. If you're looking to move at a slower pace, then you can soak up the spellbinding views, glass of wine in hand, from the comfort of the hotel terrace.
