Built in the 18th century, Old Ground Hotel Ennis has a long connection with the people of County Clare and still does. It features a huge art collection from both emerging Irish and international artists such as Mick O’Dea, Michael Canning and Lorraine Wall. You can also embark on the Ennis Sculpture Trail which showcases local work along the riverside and into town. These small touches throughout the hotel offer a warming and welcoming atmosphere to all guests, quickly making you feel at home.

The Town Hall Bistro was formerly Ennis’ Town Hall, and has now established itself as one of the leading restaurants in Ennis. By day, it is a tasty escape from the hustle and bustle, and by night it comes alive as a theatrical backdrop with intimate, candlelit tables.

Located on the doorstep of the Cliffs of Moher, a warm welcome awaits you at the local hub that is the Old Ground Hotel.
