The Royal Scotsman, A Belmond Train is an equal to the world’s most luxurious trains, sweeping passengers through Scotland’s stunning scenery in style and comfort. Aboard this award-winning rail service, expect all the facilities of a high-class hotel – but on wheels.
The train comprises renovated Pullman carriages, dressed in the fashion of an Edwardian country manor, complete with rich wood panelling, sumptuous furniture and patterned trimmings. There’s a bar for imbibing fine malts in good company, and a spa with a menu just as extensive. Retire each night to your private en-suite cabin, where Highland wool and tweed furnishings continue the sense of Scottish heritage on board. You have a choice of twin, double, single and interconnecting cabins. All feature full-length wardrobes, ceiling fans and opening windows, dressing tables, quilted bedding, power outlets, a service-call button, luxury toiletries and a bathroom complete with shower.
