About Lydia

My travels started at a young age, thanks to work experiences through school (France, England & Canada) which kick-started my love of travelling. Campervanning & backpacking in my early twenties to Europe & Southern America, I saw every day as a new adventure. Joining A&K made sense, and my passion only strengthened when I first went to Africa. Both my trips to Tanzania & Kenya have been by far the highlight of my thirties.

What's your favourite destination?

Kenya, for the fantastic people and wildlife. No matter where you go in the country, the experiences will be incomparable.

Which destination is top of your bucket list, and why?

Uganda, without a doubt. Meeting the Silverback Gorillas is the next adventure on top of my bucket list.

How many languages do you speak?

Two – French & English.

Which five items do you always pack when travelling?

Binoculars, lip balm, eye mask (I’m one of those who like complete darkness at night!), a good camera and a suitcase half-full so I can bring back souvenirs
