I’ve always been fascinated by new destinations. I spent my gap year exploring Southern Africa, and when I returned home I set about turning my passion into a career.
I took a Tourism Management degree, and a few more backpacking trips, and found work on an American cruise line. I sailed around the world, organising exciting shore excursions and exploring exotic locations.
Now with my feet back on dry land, I love nothing more than swapping stories with like-minded travel enthusiasts, researching locations and planning my next adventure.

What's your top travel tip?
Be mindful of the cultures and the places you visit, and read up or ask an expert before you go. Eat at local restaurants (because that’s where the best food is) and choose souvenirs that are fairly traded and support local communities.
