On your family adventure in Mexico you’ll explore ancient temples, dine on traditional food with a Mayan family, zip line through the jungle and ride horses along the beach.     UK - Merida

    We’ll meet you upon arrival in Merida and take you to the historic hacienda which will be your home for the next three nights.

    Uxmal with Family Scavenger Hunt

    Explore the famed Mayan ball courts and temples of Uxmal with a private guide. A magical atmosphere pervades this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once home to 20,000 Maya, the mysteriously abandoned Puuc architecture contains a 320ft mosaic. There are also 103 masks of the rain god Chac here: see if you can count them. After a fun scavenger hunt searching for hidden clues about the Maya there will be a traditional Yucatecan meal.

    Celestun

    More than 2,000 pink flamingoes are reflected in the salt-waters of the lagoon at the Biosphere Reserve of Celestun. Take a boat ride to see the other flora and fauna that make this such an enchanting place. You can escape the heat of the day by taking a refreshing dip in the waters of the idyllic reserve.

    Merida - Tixkokob - Chichen Itza

    After a city tour of Merida’s colonial charms you will step back further in time. In the Mayan village of Tixkokob the same artisanal weaving techniques have been used for centuries. Try out the hammocks they produce to see just why nothing has needed to change. At Izmal you’ll explore the mysteries of the Yellow City before you arrive at the New Wonder of the World. Tonight you will stay in the gardens overshadowed by Chichen Itza’s great pyramid.

    Chichen Itza - Riviera Maya

    Walk in the ancient Maya’s footsteps at their most famous temple. The secrets of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Chichen Itza will be revealed as you explore the structures the Maya suddenly abandoned in the 1400s after 500 years of dominating the Yucatan. Snakes, skulls and sacrifices will be replaced by azure waters, enticing caves and mangroves as you head for the sparkling coast of the Riviera Maya.

    Relaxing on the pure white shores of the Riviera Maya, you’ll stay at the idyllic Rosewood Mayakoba. Here you’ll enjoy a fabulous pool and beachside area for kids activities. All suites have rooftop sundecks, over-sized terraces, plunge pools and boat docks. Just beyond your resort you can experience the emerald embrace of the jungle or head out under the waters to enjoy snorkeling on the world's second largest reef. For a splash of adventure you can zip line through the canopies, ride horses along the sands and snorkel in the fresh water sinkholes known as cenotes.
