About Lewa House

Originally a private home Lewa House now welcomes travellers to experience safari at its best with exceptional hospitality and the most stunning landscape. The six stone, cedar and thatch cottages cluster around the main house and blend into the rugged setting. Each cottage has its own bathroom, fireplace (the Laikipia plateau is known for its chilly nights), thatched ceiling and veranda. The main house has a morning room with views over the river gorge, a drawing-room and dining area and the dramatic over-spill swimming pool is close by. Meals are of the highest quality and are hosted by the resident managers. Lewa House is closed in April and November.
