During your stay experience the bush on foot and opt to take an exciting bush walk. Guided by expert rangers, watch out for some of the 400 species of bird life recorded on the reserve. One of the most unspoilt areas of KwaZulu Natal, Maputaland is sparsely populated. Standing just above sea level there are a large number of freshwater and brackish lakes and pans, filled with many species of fish, water birds, crocodiles and hippo.
