Pa Sak Tong is a secluded private-use retreat just outside Chiang Rai. Set in 10 hectares of lush gardens at the foot of Doi Chang mountain, this is a picture-perfect spot to get away from it all.
At this retreat, there are 11 guest rooms split between two villas. Baan Sak Tong houses five suites in a teak house perched above a lotus pond. On the other side of the estate is Khum Sak Tong, a luxurious longhouse divided into four houses with six guestrooms and a 30-metre heated swimming pool. Each side is resplendent with art and textiles from Northern Thailand. Choose one villa as your base or book out the whole resort for up to 22 guests.

Over two kilometres of walkways wind around the estate, illuminated by tiki torches as night falls. Wander down to the river, watch the water buffalo at work, or relax with a book in one of the outdoor pavilions. Explore further afield by mountain bike, or take a guided tour to Chiang Rai, the night bazaar, Doi Tung Gardens or the Golden Triangle.
