Meet your A&K guide at your hotel and set out to discover Sydney’s best attractions. Begin at Taronga Zoo, where you’re introduced to a senior zoo keeper for a behind-the-scenes tour of the zoo. They will also join you for morning coffee at the Treetops Cafe. Next stop is the historic suburb of Kirribilli, before the white sands of Bondi Beach. The final activity is a backstage tour of the world-famous Sydney Opera House.
During your tour of Taronga Zoo, you can enjoy fantastic photo opportunities of koalas and kangaroos. You can also visit the kitchens to discover how so many creatures are kept healthy and fed, before venturing into the Nightlife House.
Kirribilli is now an affluent neighbourhood, but the area once attracted whalers. They were known for making seafood chowder, as you’ll learn at Chowder Bay. Bondi Beach is where lunch is served, before you spend an hour exploring some of the 1,000 rooms housed within the iconic Sydney Opera House.
